"37 Years" Celebrates 100 Years

It's a classic story: Boy meets Girl. Boy suggests a relationship to Girl. Girl says, "Mmmm, Nope." Boy and Girl go separate ways. Boy sees Girl in coffee shop 37 years later. Boy and Girl really hit it off. Boy marries Girl. Boy and Girl and a couple of friends start a band. Boy and Girl's band gets booked for an awesome free concert in Miller Park on Saturday, September 12th. You know, a classic story.

37 Years is an Omaha-based folk/pop group that features Bill Farber who grew up on Minne Lusa Boulevard. Come join Minne Lusa Historic District and 37 years for a free concert from 5PM until 8PM on Saturday, September 12th.

Don't worry about grabbing dinner before you come out. We'll have two of Omaha's best food trucks on site ready to take your orders. "Ox and Bull BBQ" has been in BBQ contests for over a decade. They're bringing the BBQ, so you better bring your appetite. Prefer a taste of the Big Easy? "Taste of New Orleans" is authentic Cajun food brought to Omaha by Chef Lee in the wake of Katrina. With this pair of food trucks providing dinner and 37 years providing the tunes, you'll want to make sure you're adding this event to your calendar.
